Google and X-Prize announces the $5 million XPRIZE Quantum Applications global competition to apply quantum computing to accelerate quantum applications that address global challenges.

The Union Cabinet of India, steered by the Department of Science & Technology, has greenlit the National Quantum Mission (NQM), earmarking a budget of Rs 6003.65 Crore (approximately $740 million).

"Remember, a PhD is not necessarily to become a university professor. PhD training is all about a structured approach to problem-solving and out-of-the-box thinking. A good masters or a PhD degree can be an avenue even for venturing into deep-tech startups."
- Prof. V Ramgopal Rao (former Director of IIT Delhi, currently Vice-Chancellor of BITS Pilani group of institutions.)

PhD in Quantum Algorithms

Quantum computing is predicted to be the next disruptive technology. The domain is still in its infancy in the sense that many basic techniques are getting designed, re-designed, and fine-tuned in the current years.

Apply for a fully-funded PhD position in quantum algorithms and get a chance to shape the future.
